Terracon is announcing the addition of Jerryll Moreno as senior archaeologist.
Ms. Moreno brings three decades of experience in cultural resource management to Terracon’s growing Cultural Resources Group, according to a press release
In her new role, she will support the group manager and oversee operations at the firm’s Tempe office, the release states.
“Jerryll brings a wealth of knowledge and a valuable perspective to cultural resource management,” said Noelle J. Espinosa, PhD, environmental department manager at Terracon. “Her dedication to her profession, tribal engagement and mentorship of our growing archaeological team will be a tremendous asset to our clients and projects throughout the state.”
Ms. Moreno’s previous leadership roles include serving as Cultural Resources Working Group leader for the National Association of Environmental Professionals from 2018 to 2024 and as a board member at large from 2023 to 2024. She chaired the Employment Taskforce Subcommittee for Wages for the Society for American Archaeology from 2023 to 2024 and served on the membership and partnership committees for the American Cultural Resources Association from 2021 to 2024.
She also contributed to the Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society’s publication committee for Kiva: The Southwest Journal of Anthropology and History as book review editor from 2012 to 2024.
A native of Los Angeles, Ms. Moreno holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from UCLA, a Master of Arts in anthropology from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Arts in scholarly publishing from Arizona State University. She is a member of the Society for American Archaeology, the Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society and the Arizona Archaeological Council.
