Dr. S. Atyia Martin, CEO and founder of All Aces, Inc., will give the keynote address at the opening session of the 2022 ENGAGE Nonprofit Conference with a focus on creating resilient organizational cultures by embedding equity.
After convening the annual conference virtually in 2020 and 2021, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits’ 2022 ENGAGE Nonprofit Conference will be in-person from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 25 at Desert Willow Conference Center, 4340 E. Cotton Center Blvd. in Phoenix.
Dr. Martin’s address will be followed in the afternoon luncheon session by Maisha Hagan, CEO and head coach at Beauty & the Boss, LLC, who will discuss Personal Leadership: What it Means and Why it Matters.
This year’s conference, which engages and informs nonprofit staff, board and volunteers in effective leadership and collaboration to rebuild, strengthen and succeed, includes an Arizona Grantmakers Forum-hosted learning track for philanthropic organizations.
Conference registration fees for Alliance and Arizona Grantmakers members are $119 ($109 for each additional member) and $149 for nonmembers and $139 for each additional registrant, according to a press release.
To ensure full accessibility and sustainability, the Alliance is providing digital materials unless otherwise requested by attendees. ASL interpretation services will be available on request, tables at the conference will feature 28-inch clearance to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility devices and large-print programs will be available on request.
