Scottsdale Chamber announces 2025 Business Volunteer Award recipients

The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of the 2025 Business Volunteer Awards, which honor individuals who exemplify exceptional dedication to volunteerism and community service.

The awards were presented during the Chamber’s December PM Connect event, celebrating the spirit of giving back that helps make Scottsdale a vibrant community for businesses and residents.

“The individuals recognized with Business Volunteer Awards embody the spirit of service that defines our Chamber,” said Patricia DiRoss, vice chair of the Scottsdale Chamber Board of Directors. “Their willingness to lead, give back and elevate others enriches not only our organization but the entire Scottsdale community. On behalf of the board, we offer our congratulations and appreciation for their contributions.”

Ms. DiRoss added that the awards reflect the Chamber’s commitment to fostering leadership and community engagement among its members.

This year’s honorees are:  

Legacy Award: Eric Luoma, Cactus Flower Florist  

The Legacy Award honors the long-term achievements of an individual who has impacted the success of the Scottsdale Area Chamber, and who has made a significant impact on the social and economic fabric of our community.

Segner Award: Rosi Khazoom, The Husband and Wife Law Team

The Segner Award celebrates the impact of an outstanding Chamber member. Named after the Chamber’s first board chairman, Wesley Segner, the Segner Award honors those who have followed in his footsteps through community trusteeship and leadership.  

Mark E. Eberle Rising Star Award: Patsy James, My Healthy Body, LLC

The Rising Star Award recognizes the accomplishments of promising new leaders whose volunteer spirit contributes to the success of the Chamber and the community. 

Dale B. Fingersh Volunteer of the Year: Dana Holt, State 48 Law Firm   

Recognizes an individual of outstanding character for his/her dedication, commitment, and service, who has acted as a steward for the Chamber. 

Chairman’s Award: Justin Layman, Arouet Capital/DebitFire LLC

Presented at the Chairman’s discretion, this award honors an individual whose leadership has significantly contributed to the success of the Chamber.
