Pedal Haus Brewery is opening in downtown Mesa at 201 E. Main Street sometime this winter.
“We are looking forward to debuting this new concept for Pedal Haus – the ‘biergarten’ – which will provide a largely outdoor space for people to enjoy great beer, delicious food, lawn games, live music and more,” said Julian Wright, founder of the Pedal Haus.
This will be Pedal Haus’ first ‘biergarten,’ representatives of the brand tell Digital Free Press Mesa, whereas the concept is focused around a massive 6,000-square-foot, dog-friendly patio. The interior will be 2,300 square-feet. The brewery restaurant will preserve many of the original autobody shop’s Modernist ‘Googie Style’ design features, such as the floating ‘V’ awning.
Mesa Mayor John Giles lauds a new brewery coming online in downtown Mesa.
“Downtown Mesa is the perfect location for Pedal Haus’ new biergarten,” he said in a prepared statement. “It will add a new dimension to our growing local brewery scene. I’m excited to check out the festive atmosphere, live music, great food and more.”
Pedal Haus Brewery has been gaining notoriety in the local craft beer scene since 2015 when it opened its first location on Mill Avenue in Tempe.
