Ocean 44 has been named as OpenTable’s prestigious Top 100 Restaurants for 2023, which promoters say is an honor shared by only two other restaurants in Arizona.
OpenTable named Ocean 44 to the coveted list, which is curated from a comprehensive analysis of 12 million diner reviews, according to a press release.
Diners considered an array of metrics, including ratings, advance reservations, and glowing five-star reviews, the release states.
Owned by James Beard nominated restaurateurs and brothers Mike and Jeff Mastro — along with their father Dennis and partner Scott Troilo — Ocean 44 offers a chef sourced menu providing the highest graded sustainable fresh seafood from around from the world in vibrant upscale atmosphere.
Ocean 44 has received numerous accolades prior including being named on Open Table’s Top 100 Most Loved Restaurant and Most Romantic Restaurant List in America for 2022 and 2023. Similarly, Open Table also named Ocean 44’s sister concept Steak 48 in Charlotte, North Carolina to its Top 100 list for 2023.
Jeff Mastro thanked the diners for including Ocean 44 and Steak 48 on this year’s coveted list.
Mr. Mastro also owns Steak 44 and Dominick’s Steakhouse in the Valley of the Sun and Steak 48 in Beverly Hills, Del Mar, Chicago, Houston, and Philadelphia and soon to be Ocean 48 in Newport Beach.
“Everything we do in our restaurants resolves around the guests and giving them a world class dining experience every time they visit,” Mr. Mastro said. “It is really special when the diners speak and give us this incredible honor and recognition. It reminds us that we are on the right track and that we need to continue raising the bar and exceeding their expectations.”
