Mesquite Fresh Street Mex, a modern Mexican grab-and-go brand by Nas and Ahmad Alatrash of AR Concepts, is excited to announce a new sponsorship deal with Grand Canyon University.
The concept has supported the university’s students and faculty through catering community events. Its latest deal with the school offers GCU students and staff 10% off meals with presentation of a valid school ID, according to a press release.
“After years of serving authentic Mexican food to the Valley, it is an honor to make the progression as an official sponsor of GCU, its faculty and students,” said Ahmad Alatrash, co-owner of AR Concepts. “Whether we’re fueling late-night study sessions, serving bites at a big game or an after-class meal hangout, Mesquite is looking forward to the supportive opportunities to come.”
Mesquite plans to support the university into 2023. All locations will participate in the promotion for students and staff members as a permanent offering.
“Mesquite Fresh Street Mex is committed to communities throughout Arizona, as we are, and developing customized partnerships with brands like Mesquite Fresh Street Mex helps ensure GCU will continue to positively impact all of our programs,” said GCU’s Vice President of Advancement Dr. Kale Gober.
Mesquite Fresh Street Mex operates nine locations in Arizona with a 10th and Van Buren restaurant planned for opening in 2022. All locations utilize a signature custom-built mesquite grill, from which the brand derives its name, to give fresh meat a unique and smoky flavor.
