Lerner & Rowe Gives Back is hosting its annual charity golf tournament on April 25 at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale.
In 2024, this event raised $1.1 million, which fueled an entire year’s worth of philanthropy. 100% of the proceeds from this event go back to Arizona nonprofits through Lerner & Rowe Gives Back’s grant program and other charity giving, according to a press release.
“The Golf Classic is our biggest event of the year, and it’s always so powerful to see how people gather to show support for charities that are working tirelessly to make change across Arizona,” said Kevin Rowe, founder of Lerner & Rowe Gives Back and managing partner of Lerner & Rowe, P.C. “This event is more than just a single day on the course—it’s an opportunity to make a real, tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
At this year’s event, there will be a special collaboration with First Tee Phoenix, which empowers kids and teens through the game of golf. Lerner & Rowe Gives Back is asking eventgoers to bring their gently used golf equipment to support young players in their goals of learning more about golf.
“We are grateful to Lerner & Rowe for adding a golf gear drive benefiting First Tee – Phoenix to this year’s tournament,” said Erin McDonough, CEO and executive director of First Tee – Phoenix. “All golf gear donations will support our programming by going directly into kids’ hands or being turned into cash to help us keep our youth development programming affordable and accessible to all.”
