Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is adding a new treat to its iconic cookie lineup: Exploremores, a rocky road ice cream–inspired sandwich cookie featuring flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème.
Exploremores will be available during GSACPC’s 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Season, which kicks off early next year across central and northern Arizona. More than 12,000 girls in grades K–12 will represent the council during the annual sale, according to a press release.
“Exploremores reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout,” said Christina Spicer, co-CEO of GSACPC, in the release. “We are excited that it offers local Girl Scouts a path to learn valuable skills as they sell cookies in person and online through the Girl Scout Cookie Program—the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world.”
The Girl Scout Cookie Program helps girls develop five essential skills: goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics. Through cookie sales, girls also learn the importance of giving back and making a positive impact in their communities.
“When you buy a package of Exploremores or any favorite Girl Scout Cookies, 100 percent of the proceeds stay local to support girls and programs right here in our community,” said Mary Mitchell, co-CEO of GSACPC. “This support enables girl-led community service projects that address local needs, enrich troop field trips, support year-round outdoor programs and create more meaningful opportunities.”
Examples of girl-led initiatives funded by cookie proceeds include donations to animal shelters, food and clothing drives, environmental advocacy programs, and other community service projects that make visible and lasting impacts in schools, neighborhoods and local organizations.
“We appreciate the support of the community in helping Girl Scouts discover all they can do and be,” Ms. Mitchell added. “We’re excited to share Exploremores and inspire girls to explore even further through entrepreneurship, STEM, outdoor adventures and the year-round sisterhood Girl Scouts has to offer.”
