Frank Aazami of Compass brokers Fountain Hills’ highest home sale of 2025

Staff Reports | Real Property & Homes

Compass luxury real estate broker Frank Aazami closed Fountain Hills’ highest residential sale of the year within weeks of joining the technology-focused brokerage in September.

Working with Associate Partner Fletcher Wilcox and buyer brokers David Newcombe and Heather MacLean, Mr. Aazami helped facilitate the $4.7 million sale of a home at 14699 E Paradise Drive in the Eagle Ridge community.

The transaction underscores the reach of Compass’ private listing platform, which generated interest in the property before it hit the open market.

The home features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 5,665 square feet of living space, with panoramic views of Camelback Mountain. The original owners transformed the hillside plot into a level lot and designed a single-level retreat with attention to detail.

“Compass gives clients a real advantage in today’s luxury real estate market,” Mr. Aazami said. “Our private listing platform gives serious buyers and sellers an opportunity to connect in a confidential, high-trust environment before a home ever hits the main market, reducing competition by giving them first dibs on exceptional properties.”

The interior was designed by James McIntyre and includes wall treatments by Anna Sadler of Surface Refinements. Features include wrought-iron accents, exposed wood beams and glass walls showcasing desert views. A chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances and a six-burner gas range complements custom cabinetry throughout. A Savant Smart Home System allows residents to manage lighting, temperature, sound, security and more from their smartphones. An eight-car garage with lifts appeals to automotive enthusiasts.

The primary suite includes a retractable glass wall opening to a patio and a negative-edge pool reaching depths of eight feet.

“This is one of those properties that spotlights everything there is to love about life in Arizona,” Mr. Aazami said. “From its breathtaking scenery to its well-thought-out indoor/outdoor design, it’s a prime example of why metro Phoenix—and particularly the East Valley—continue to attract high-income buyers and residents from across the nation and around the world.”

Mr. Aazami, a longtime figure in Arizona’s luxury real estate market, said Compass’ technology and network position the brokerage to meet growing demand for high-end properties.
