Chapin House, founded by entrepreneurs Heather and Chip Hassan, has officially opened at 6310 N. Scottsdale Road in the Town of Paradise Valley.

The grand opening celebration, held Nov. 12, featured shopping, drinks and light bites, with 25% of sales donated to PANDA (People Acting Now Discover Answers), a volunteer-driven organization that funds medical research for children.

According to a press release, the Hassans made significant upgrades to the building, creating an eclectic mix of showrooms from respected dealers and collectors. Guests will find antiques, home décor, art, gifts and tabletop treasures, along with curated boutiques featuring modern and vintage pieces.

The space also offers what the owners describe as the largest and most diverse selection of home fragrance in the Valley.

The name Chapin House honors the family’s retail history and international legacy, representing a new chapter built on connection, creativity and community.

“We’re delighted to officially open Chapin House and to welcome so many longtime clients and new customers into the space,” said Heather Hassan, co-owner of Pagoda Lane and Chapin House. “This grand opening marks a meaningful new beginning for us and for the community we love.”

Ms. Hassan added that the couple also owns Pagoda Lane, located inside Chapin House, which offers monogrammed gifts and home décor. Customers can personalize items ranging from cashmere to tote bags, cosmetic cases, towels and travel essentials.

“Purchasing Scottsdale Marketplace was a natural progression of our love of Scottsdale and beautifully curated items, from home décor and monogrammed pieces to antiques and unique gifts,” she said. “With the new brand, Chapin House, we’re excited to offer an even more spectacular experience for customers.”

The Hassans previously owned and operated furniture stores in Denver, Scottsdale, Las Vegas and Shanghai, China, and bring more than 30 years of experience in design, retail and customer service.
