Capital Asset Management and Phoenix-based MODE Commercial Property Management have merged, combining teams and portfolios to strengthen their footprint in the Southwest and expand their medical, office and industrial holdings under the Capital Asset Management brand.

The merger builds on Capital Asset Management’s expertise in retail, office, association and industrial properties. With the addition of MODE’s 70-plus Phoenix-area properties, the combined team now includes 74 real estate professionals overseeing more than 10 million square feet of commercial space, according to a press release.

Founded in 2009 by husband-and-wife team Mr. Aaron and Ms. Rachelle Strole, Capital Asset Management has grown from a retail-focused firm to managing more than 181 properties across Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, California and Hawaii. The company emphasizes tenant retention, customer service and innovation under its guiding principle, “Commercial Real Estate, Better.”

“This union brings together a highly skilled group of management professionals, the strategic expansion of our office portfolio and the enhancement of our engineering team,” said Aaron Strole, co-founder of Capital Asset Management. “It represents a significant milestone in advancing our long-term vision to deliver professional, personalized service to our clients across all asset classes.”

For MODE, the merger offers stability and new opportunities. Property owners, tenants and employees will benefit from the combined resources of both organizations, including Capital Asset Management’s portfolio team and accounting staff.
“Partnering with Capital Asset was a significant decision, but one we know will benefit our people, our clients and our properties,” said Patty Hartley, co-founder of MODE Commercial Property Management. “Aaron and Rachelle’s commitment to excellence and long-standing integrity in the industry, along with Mr. David Verwer’s continued leadership, made this partnership the right choice for the future.”

With the merger complete, Capital Asset Management is reinforcing its position as one of the fastest-growing commercial real estate firms in the Phoenix metro area and the greater Southwest. Through continued strategic expansion, the company is positioned to deliver increased value to clients and strengthen its role as a market leader.
