Wilde Wealth Management Group is announcing Barron’s has named the firm to its annual list of the Top 100 Private Wealth Management Teams in the nation.

This is Wilde Wealth Management’s first year on the list, earning No. 82 in the national ranking, and they are one of only two firms to earn placement among the top 100 in Arizona, according to a press release.

The honor comes on the heels of Wilde founder and CEO Trevor Wilde being named to Barron’s annual list of top 1,200 advisors nationwide and No. 1 overall in Arizona. This is Wilde’s 15th consecutive year being honored and his 5th year in a row among the top five advisors in Arizona. It also marks Wilde’s second time being named to the No. 1 position, the release states.

Barron’s published its first ranking in 2004 to shine a spotlight on the nation’s best wealth managers and raise standards in the industry, Wilde Wealth representatives report.

The teams are ranked on a variety of factors, including their size and shape, their regulatory records and credentials of their members, and the resources they have at their disposal to serve their client bases. The rankings are meant as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor—a first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search. Every advisor will have his or her own approach to investing, financial planning, and other services.

Wilde Wealth Management Group, the brainchild of Wilde and brain-grandchild of father William, was founded in 2003.

“We had a vision to offer boutique investment and planning advice in a fiduciary capacity, and to offer clients expanded in-house service offerings from fellow independent experts and specialists in the fields of legal, taxes, risk management, family services, real estate and even insurance,” Mr. Wilde said. “Prior, I worked in finance at a larger firm, and my father had been in the industry for decades. The time was right to build something together.”

Over the past two decades, the team – now with Trevor at the helm as CEO and William on the board of directors – grew from one office to one of the largest comprehensive wealth management teams in the Southwest.

“Today, we have offices in Tempe, Tucson, Payson, Glendale and Sedona in addition to our headquarters in Scottsdale, which we expanded from 6,000 to 12,000 square feet in 2022,” he pointed out. “We also have offices in Indiana, Florida, and California.”

The firm is working on a fundraising program for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where team member Greg Anthony is a board member. Prior, the team rolled up it sleeves for a wide variety of organizations including Chrysalis, Cell Phones for Soldiers, Free Arts for Abused Children, Southwest Human Development, Sunshine Acres, Briggs 4 Kidz, Toys for Tots, Child Crisis Arizona, and more.

“We also fund a scholarship through Arizona Tuition Connection to help students in need to attend Notre Dame Prep,” says Mr. Wilde, who with fellow Wilde advisor Jason Fial just made a $85,000 contribution to the scholarship in 2022.

The firm’s responsible growth, expertise as it relates to client service and community stewardship have led to several awards in addition to the most recent announcements.

In April, Forbes named Mr. Wilde to its 2023 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list. Only 150 advisors from across Arizona were named to the prestigious list, with Wilde being named the No. 2 overall advisor statewide. This is his third year in a row earning the No. 2 overall ranking.

Mr. Wilde has also been recognized as an “AZ Business Angel” by AZ Business Magazine and as a “Most Admired Leader” in Arizona by the Phoenix Business Journal.

Firm chief operating officer Jaclyn Yoder has also been recognized among the “40 Under 40” by the Phoenix Business Journal. In 2022, the firm was selected to BestCompaniesAZ’s “Most Admired Companies,” its second year in a row earning the honor. Wilde Wealth was also named a finalist for the Phoenix Business Journal’s “Small Business of the Year Awards.”
