Staff Reports | Happenings & Events
On Saturday, Sept. 7, and Sunday, Sept. 8, guests of all ages will have the opportunity to engage in interactive exhibits, hands-on activities and dazzling demonstrations that inspire curiosity and a love for learning at the Arizona Science Center, thanks to Fry’s Food Stores.
Fry’s Free Weekend also marks the closing weekend of OceanXperience—an immersive, one-of-a-kind, adventure-driven traveling exhibition designed to raise awareness for the world’s oceans.
“We are thrilled to partner with Fry’s Food Stores to offer this free weekend to our community,” said Guy Labine, The Hazel A. Hare president & CEO of Arizona Science Center. “This collaboration allows us to make science accessible to everyone and encourage lifelong learning.”
Fry’s Food Stores President Monica Garnes echoes a similar sentiment.
“We’re grateful to be able to feed minds and the human spirit by partnering with the Arizona Science Center,” she said in a prepared statement. “Our hearts are in the communities we serve, and this is a great opportunity for us to give back to families in our beautiful state.”
