The Arabian Horse Association of Arizona is recognizing its 15th anniversary of the Arabian National Breeder Finals at the Equidome of WestWorld in Scottsdale.
The show will run from Sept. 10- 13 and will showcase the best the breed has to offer in an unparalleled venue, with more than $100,000 in prize money, according to a press release.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Arabian National Breeder Finals and welcome the International Arabian horse community back to Scottsdale,” said Melissa Schalles, executive cirector of the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona.
“This event blends Wild West charm with elegance, featuring boutique-style horse competitions, including halter and performance contests, plus a special class for young weanlings. Special to this year’s event is our new partnership with the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup, a group of championships for small breeders and owners of Arabian horses organized in North America”
This year’s partnership with the EAHGC will introduce a small breeder’s competition with guaranteed prize money. The EAHGC organizes and supports a series of unique global championships to encourage breeders and owners of Arabian horses around the world, highlighting the role and interest of United Arab Emirates in Arabian horses, and maintaining its distinguished position among horse owners and organizations in the world.
The Arabian National Breeder Finals competition consists of a series of different performances, called classes, where some of the best Arabian halter and performance horses in the world will compete for over $100,000 in prize money and the coveted title of Finals Champion.
Saturday night will feature live entertainment provided by Superhero Band, Arizona’s premier high energy dance band that covers everything from the greatest hits from the ‘70s through today’s chart-topping songs.
