
Angela Padgett-Espiritu takes election reins as election season heats up

Town of Fountain Hills has appointed Angela Padgett-Espiritu as the municipality’s town clerk.
“Angela has been serving the Town of Fountain Hills in a variety of different roles for six years and is dedicated to upholding our community’s mission and values,” said Rachael Goodwin, town manager, in a prepared statement. “We’re delighted to welcome her into this new position, one that is very important in light of the upcoming elections.”
In her new role, Ms. Padgett-Espiritu will maintain all documents necessary for the effective administration and operation of municipal government, provide support to the mayor and town council and aid in the delivery of effective government service. Also, the town’s top election facilitates municipal elections in accordance with statutory requirements and serves internal and external customers in an impartial, confidential, efficient, trustworthy and friendly manner.
Ms. Padgett-Espiritu, a Town of Fountain Hills resident, holds a bachelor of business administration and a certificate in accounting. With more than two decades of experience in her field, she has also been a dedicated resident of the Town of Fountain Hills for 20 years.
Ms. Padgett-Espiritu has earned her certified elections official certificate and expects to complete certified municipal clerk course work in the coming months.
