Recording artist, songwriter and Vintage Guitar Legacies founder Sarah James released a music video Take it or Leave It, based on her recent single of the same title.
Take It Or Leave It is a music video encouraged by her fans’ enthusiasm for the single, which has become an anthem of hope and resilience. The song is inspired by a journey many have taken beyond the hardships of enduring rejection from loved ones, friends and coworkers.
“The song has become an anthem for so many,” Ms. James said in a prepared statement. “… the video stands to inspire hope, love and energy to folks who really need to hear it and I think that goes for anyone facing obstacles. It’s a message of personal and collective triumph.”
As founder of Vintage Guitar Legacies, fans can count on skilled musicians featuring notable, vintage instruments in the upcoming Take it or Leave It music video. Front and center along with the singer-songwriter for the upcoming video is Sarah’s vintage cherry red 1962 Gibson ES335.
Playing alongside her are bandmates Tony Cobos on guitar, Ronn Moss (a founding member of the band PLAYER) on bass, Corey Plueard on drums and Ed Heisler of Black Mountain Guitar on guitar. Featured alongside the musicians in the video is Cobos’ black 1973 Fender Thinline Telecaster and Heisler’s ‘90s era Gibson Custom Shop Flying V.
A native of Pittsburgh, Ms. James brings a spirited presentation of original music and uniquely eclectic, delightful covers artistically re-engineered from across the decades to crowds of all sizes. From blues, rock, pop, and what she calls “Americana-fusion,” her energetic and joyous sound has developed a well-earned following of impassioned regulars whether performing solo, duo, or with her band The Sarah James Band.
