The Arizona Digital Free Press presents another in our new weekly restaurant features, coined “Adventures in Dining,” by Sabrina Hulse.
This week is RA Sushi Bar Restaurant, 1652 S. Val Vista Drive, #10, in Mesa.
Ms. Hulse says, “I love trying new food places and I have challenged myself to try every food place in the Mesa boundary and share my finds with all of you.”

RA Sushi Bar Restaurant
Type: Sushi
Location: Southwest corner of the US 60 and Val Vista.
Space: Sit down restaurant with lots of seating.
Our Order: Adults Only Roll (the one with fire), Crazy Monkey Roll and California Roll.
Thoughts: The Crazy Monkey Roll is one of our favorite specialty rolls that we usually always get. This time I also tried the Adults Only Roll, which turned out to be delicious and fun with fire on the plate.
Good to know: If you sign up with RA, they email you a $20 gift card for your birthday and your half birthday! You have a month to use it. It has to be used for dining in Monday through Thursday.
