Encántame Resorts has announced plans to build a jet ski launch at its Playa Encanto Beach development in Puerto Peñasco, giving condominium owners and resort guests direct access to launch personal watercraft from the beach.
The amenity is expected to open by Halloween 2026 and will serve owners and guests staying at Encántame Soleil, Encántame Towers, Encántame Estates, Residence and future Encántame Resorts developments, according to a press release.
“Our owners drive every major amenity we build, and this project reflects exactly what they told us they wanted,” Keith Allen, of Encántame Resorts, said. “Being the first resort in Puerto Peñasco to offer this kind of direct beach access for jet skis raises the bar for what a beachfront community can deliver.”
The launch system is designed to move jet skis between trailers and the water using a remote-controlled mechanism that eliminates the need for heavy lifting. Resort staff will assist with the launching process, and the equipment will be stored in an on-site garage when not in use.
The project also includes a retaining wall, dedicated parking area and the beach launch infrastructure.
Encántame Resorts said the investment is part of its ongoing effort to expand amenities at the Playa Encanto development in Rocky Point, which continues to attract visitors from Arizona and throughout the Southwest.
“I told Keith Allen four years ago that I would only buy my condo if I could launch my jet ski from the resort,” Luis Guerrero, a Phoenix resident and Encántame Resorts condominium owner, said. “Seeing that idea become a real amenity for every owner shows how seriously this team listens to the people who live here.”
The jet ski launch joins several amenities added at the resort in recent years, including mini markets in the Encántame Towers lobbies, a convenience store, two rooftop pools at Encántame Towers, the Marea restaurant and built-in gas barbecue islands on Residence terraces.
