Young athletes from across Arizona and beyond will have the opportunity to train with one of lacrosse’s most recognizable online personalities when the Scottsdale Lacrosse Experience hosts the Mitchell Pehlke Lacrosse Experience on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2026, at the Chaparral Soccer/Lacrosse Fields in Scottsdale.
The one-day camp, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to boys and girls ages 9 to 14 of all skill levels and will feature instruction from lacrosse player, coach and content creator Mitchell Pehlke, whose social media and YouTube channels have helped introduce thousands of young athletes to the sport.

Organizers say the event is designed to provide a fun, family-friendly experience while helping grow participation in lacrosse throughout Arizona. Youth Lacrosse of Arizona will have a presence at the event, and local lacrosse organizations are expected to participate as well.
“The Scottsdale Lacrosse Experience is about more than a camp,” Scottsdale resident and Scottsdale Lacrosse Experience founder Geoff Barnes said. “It’s an opportunity to bring kids, families and the lacrosse community together while introducing more young athletes to the sport in a welcoming environment.”
In addition to on-field instruction and activities, event organizers will host “Laxmas,” a holiday-themed celebration aimed at creating a memorable experience for participants. Organizers plan to distribute gifts to campers attending the event.
The event is also expected to attract traveling families, particularly those seeking a warm-weather destination during the winter season. Parents can enjoy Scottsdale’s resorts, shopping, dining and entertainment offerings while their children participate in camp activities.
Hotel room blocks are being offered through The Canopy and The Scott Resort.
