Downtown Chandler is getting a fresh spin on fall festival season with the launch of the inaugural Rocktoberfest, a two-day mashup of live music, craft beer and quirky competitions that blends Oktoberfest tradition with a rock ’n’ roll attitude, according to a press release.
The event, co-produced by SanTan Brewing Company and Huss Brewing Co., will take over Dr. A.J. Chandler Park East on Friday, Oct. 3 (4:30–10 p.m.) and Saturday, Oct. 4 (noon–10 p.m.), featuring a jam-packed lineup of tribute bands, local brews and fall-themed contests.
“Rocktoberfest is a celebration of great beer, awesome live music and an even better community,” said Ms. Jamie Hoffman, co-owner of SanTan Brewing Company. “We’ve taken everything people loved about our previous Oktoberfest and given it a fresh, new vibe that we know everyone is going to enjoy,” Ms. Hoffman said.
“SanTan has built an incredible tradition of throwing one of the Valley’s best October beer festivals, and we’re honored to be part of this exciting new chapter,” said Ms. Leah Huss, co-founder of Huss Brewing Co. “Rocktoberfest is all about exceptional local beer, fun live music, great people, and we’re proud to come together with SanTan to make it happen,” Ms. Huss said.
Where craft beer meets concert energy
Rocktoberfest is more than just a place to grab a flavorful local pint. It’s a full weekend of craft beer and live music coming together in one high-energy festival.
On tap are fan-favorite brews from SanTan Brewing and Huss Brewing, cocktails featuring SanTan Spirits, hard ciders from Ciderboyz, and non-alcoholic options from Athletic Brewing. Drinks will pair perfectly with an electric lineup of tribute bands and local acts that keep the party going from the first pour to the final encore.
