Scottsdale Polo Party offers new day and night polo events

The 2024 Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships is announcing the return of ‘America’s Greatest Polo Party’ for its 13th installment Saturday, Oct. 26.
Promoters of the event say the 2024 installment will offer an exciting new lineup of star-studded teams, including several playing in Scottsdale for the first time, one-of-a-kind on-site activation — and the debut of night polo under the stars.
Polo After Dark is an event first and rarity in American polo, Scottsdale’s day-long Polo Party will now run well into the evening hours with a special concert planned by Relentless Beats — all thanks to new light installations at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N Pima Road.
“For 12 years we have offered an incredible day of festivities and that will continue but expanding with night polo is something we have been working on for many years. We are incredibly grateful to the city of Scottsdale,” said Jason Rose, event founder.
“This will be a tremendous new feature to really showcase this exhilarating fast-paced sport and the incredible polo talent that comes to Scottsdale to play in the event every year.”
Mr. Rose contends people will be able to come out during the day just as they have for 12 years, or at night, or both.
“We understand not everyone can make it during the day so the night polo creates a new option for dates, groups and something different,” he said.
Teams playing in 2024 include matchups between reigning champions Aspen Valley Polo Club starring America’s Top Polo Star Nic Roldan taking on Napa Valley, Arizona Polo Club vs Wales Polo Team, Nashville Polo Team vs Pride World Polo League, a New Orleans and Calistoga face off, and Sonoma County taking on the highly competitive El Paso team.
“This is going to be a really magical and special year for the Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships,” said Title Sponsor Beli Merdovic of Bentley Scottsdale. “Every year this event just grows and gets more exciting, between the beautiful luxury cars by Bentley and other luxury brands, to the teams coming in from around the world and then you add the entertainment and champagne, there is nothing quite like it.”
