Digital Free Press Mesa now part of the Arizona Digital Free Press network
Digital Free Press Mesa is part of the Digital Free Press network, a growing group of free digital news organizations in Arizona. The network is committed to providing high-quality, nonpartisan journalism that is essential for a healthy democracy — not stuck behind a paywall or app-plus service.
Mr. Thornton says he is aiming to expand into reporting the Local News That Matters at Mesa City Hall beginning this summer.
“The city of Mesa is our next reporting community — a community I thoroughly enjoyed covering years ago,” he said in a prepared statement. “What our Mesa audience can expect from the Digital Free Press is expert reporting at City Hall coupled with our coverage of the local business, real estate and philanthropic communities. Today, readers can download the Digital Press app on Apple or Google to find Mesa news over the last 19 months.”
The vision of the Arizona Digital Free Press is simple: To forge a digital-only, sustainable news organization focused on expert reporting at City Hall, enterprise coverage of the business community — and help promote efforts trying to make the world a better place through Real Property & Homes.
The focus of this news organization is journalism, at the Arizona Digital Free Press we will not be advocates for issues, a purveyor of right or wrong but rather a company focused on seeking the truth no matter the outcome. The Digital Free Press reports the Local News That Matters.
