If you own a home or rental unit in Phoenix and are looking for consistent, reliable income, join the Phoenix Housing Department for a Landlord Open House to learn about the benefits of the city’s Housing Choice Voucher Program.
“We want property owners to be well informed of the benefits of working with the Housing Choice Voucher program,” said Elenia Sotelo, a deputy housing director at the Phoenix Housing Department. “By engaging with the voucher program and renting to a tenant with a voucher, owners not only provide much needed affordable housing to individuals and families but also guarantee a steady rental income for their property.”
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23. Memorial Hall at Steele Indian School Park at 300 E. Indian School Road. RSVP: OpenHouseRSVP@quadel.com
At the open house, Phoenix City Hall officials tell the Digital Free Press, landlords will have the opportunity to learn about Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contracts, inspections, leasing, moves, and more.
Get your voucher questions answered in a meet-and-greet with staff from Housing, Human Services, Neighborhood Services, Equal Opportunity, and more.
