By Jerry Bien-Willner | Point of View
As I conclude my three terms as your mayor and 12 years of volunteer service, I am filled with gratitude for the trust and support I have received. Serving this incredible community has been a tremendous honor.
Together, we have achieved so much. As I move forward from this position, I heartily congratulate Mark Stanton, Paradise Valley’s next mayor. I have worked closely with Mark on Council for 10 years.
Mayor-elect Stanton is ready and excited to serve admirably as our mayor and I know he will give it his all.
I wish Mayor-elect Stanton and all those working hard for the public good on the Council, along with all the Town volunteers and employees, all the best and sincerely thank them for their service.
While my time as mayor is ending, my good wishes and deep thanks for our community remain as strong as ever. Many community members have asked if I have any immediate plans for public service. I currently do not, but I will remain open to new ways to contribute to the greater good in the years ahead.
Here’s to continued success and a bright future for all! Happy Holidays, from my family to you and yours!
