Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is announcing its annual signature fundraiser, the Celebrate Youth Gala, which is Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the iconic Phoenician resort.
The event, which is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale premiere fundraiser event, serves as a cornerstone of Scottsdale’s philanthropic calendar whereas event organizers tell the Digital Free Press the evening promises to be an unforgettable night of inspiration, elegance, and community spirit.
The 2025 gala is led by Scottsdale philanthropists — Andrea Robertson and Beth McRae, who will serve as co-chairs of the signature community event.
These community leaders are joined by Honorary Chair Mary Ellen McKee, a distinguished philanthropist whose legacy of service and dedication to bettering the lives of others is unmatched.
Andrea Robertson, an executive committee member on the BGCS Board of Governors and founder of Lexie’s Voice Foundation, is back again for her third year chairing the event. Ms. Robertson is known for her unwavering advocacy for youth and special needs causes.
“The Celebrate Youth Gala is more than an event — it’s a movement,” Ms. Robertson said. “It’s about uniting our community to uplift and empower the young people who will shape our future. This year, we are committed to making an even greater impact, and I am honored that Beth McRae has agreed to join me in creating an unforgettable evening.”
Beth McRae, with over 30 years of experience in public relations and marketing, is a powerhouse in strategic planning and community engagement.
“I am incredibly honored to co-chair an event that plays such a vital role in the lives of children in our community,” Ms. McRae said. “The gala is a testament to the power of community coming together for a common cause. With the support of generous community leaders and partners, I believe we can elevate this event to new heights and create a legacy of lasting impact to benefit youth.”
The addition of Mary Ellen McKee as honorary chair further elevates the significance of this year’s gala. A true champion of youth, Ms. McKee’s involvement underscores the importance of the event in supporting the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.
The 2025 Celebrate Youth Gala will not only be a night to remember but also a powerful demonstration of the community’s commitment to ensuring that success is in reach for all youth, no matter their circumstances.
With last year’s Gala raising a record-breaking $1.1 million, the co-chairs are determined to exceed that milestone and broaden the scope of support for BGCS’s critical programs and services.
