CCBG Architects has announced the addition of Itzel Sanchez as a project manager, expanding its architectural and planning team serving clients throughout the Southwest.
Originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Sanchez earned her degree from the University of Sonora in 2019 and brings experience in project coordination, construction documentation and consultant management to the role, according to a press release.
As project manager, Sanchez will work with project architects to support project delivery, coordinate with consultants, prepare and submit documents to city and county agencies, monitor active projects and develop construction documents that comply with applicable codes.
“We are excited to welcome Itzel to the CCBG team,” Paul Ladensack, partner and principal at CCBG Architects, said. “Her technical expertise, enthusiasm for learning, and commitment to collaboration make her a valuable addition to our firm. As we continue to grow and serve an expanding client base, Itzel’s ability to coordinate complex project requirements and support our project teams will help us continue delivering outstanding results.”
Ms. Sanchez said the opportunity to work with CCBG Architects appealed to her because of the firm’s collaborative environment and range of project types.
“Joining CCBG is an exciting opportunity to continue growing professionally while working alongside talented architects and designers,” Itzel Sanchez, project manager at CCBG Architects, said. “I look forward to supporting our project teams, building strong relationships with clients and consultants, and contributing to projects that positively impact the communities we serve.”
Outside of work, Ms. Sanchez enjoys hiking, exercising, attending movies, watching anime, going to concerts and searching for great pizza.
One of the accomplishments she is most proud of is relocating from her hometown to pursue new opportunities.
“That decision put me on a path that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally,” Ms. Sanchez said. “This transition required courage and independence, and each step has taught me valuable lessons that continue to shape who I am.”
