The Miami Hurricanes defeated the Ole Miss Rebels 31–27 in the 2026 Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., earning the program a berth in the College Football Playoff National Championship. The No. 10-seeded Hurricanes rallied late to outlast the No. 6-seeded Rebels in a back-and-forth semifinal that featured multiple lead changes and a sellout crowd. Miami’s defense sealed the victory in the final minutes, stopping Ole Miss on a last-gasp drive to preserve the win. The triumph marked Miami’s first Fiesta Bowl appearance in more than two decades and capped a breakthrough postseason run for the Hurricanes under head coach Mario Cristobal.
