Car enthusiasts can celebrate Valentine’s Day at Phoenix Children’s 12th annual Concours in the Hills from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills.
Known as the “Greatest Car Show on Grass,” the event will showcase cars, motorcycles, helicopters and military vehicles, all in support of Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and Cardiothoracic Surgery Fund, according to a press release.
Concours in the Hills will feature sections for domestics, imports, race cars, limited-edition exotics, off-road vehicles and motorcycles. Helicopters on display will range from civilian models to a rare Black Hawk military helicopter.
Supported by car clubs and dealerships, the event will include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Corvette, Viper, Ford GT, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Mustang, Jaguar, Cadillac, Lotus and more. Attendees will see some of the rarest and most valuable cars in the world, collectively worth hundreds of millions of dollars, with several individual cars valued at more than $10 million.
Peter Volny created Concours in the Hills in 2014, driven by a lifelong passion for exotic cars and speed. For Volny, the event is about more than horsepower and luxury. As a childhood cancer survivor, his mission to support Phoenix Children’s drives the event each year.
“Concours in the Hills has grown into something truly spectacular,” Mr. Volny said. “It’s inspiring to see a community of car enthusiasts come together with such generosity and passion, supporting Phoenix Children’s while sharing their love for these incredible vehicles.”
Concours in the Hills began in 2014 with 220 cars and 3,000 spectators. In 2025, the event drew about 50,000 spectators, 1,200 vehicles and more than 100 vendor and sponsor booths.
