Royse Contemporary is celebrating its eight year anniversary with “People, Places & Things,” a dynamic group exhibition examining the complexities of our everyday life and what we encounter: people, places and things.
Ms. Royse has selected artists whose work highlights these engaging subjects while pushing their mediums to produce stunning and thought provoking work, blending observation and imagination.
These artists, Ms. Royse says, were selected based on their distinctive voice, ingenuity, and accomplished work. This exhibition showcases the work of ten noteworthy artists including: James Angel, Cam DeCaussin, Cherie Buck-Hutchison, Gennaro Garcia, Joe Ray, Daniel Shepherd, Fred Tieken and Casey Wakefield. We are also pleased to welcome special guest artists: Frank Gonzales and Monica Aissa Martinez.
“These artist’s work highlights these subjects in a truly alluring way, presenting work that is visually captivating and commanding and I am thrilled to bring this exhibition to Royse Contemporary,” Ms. Royse said in a prepared statement.
People, Places & Things is open to the public.
“We would like to say Thank You for supporting Royse Contemporary and the local arts these past eight years,” Ms. Royse said. “It is my honor to work with so many talented artists and present this exhibition to celebrate the anniversary of Royse Contemporary.”
Royse Contemporary is found in the Scottsdale Arts District in the Marshall Square complex at 7077 E. Main Street.
