
Paradise Valley Town Council expected to adopt formal plan this May

Paradise Valley Town Council is expected to be presented the tentative municipal budget Thursday, April 25, at Town Hall, 6401 E. Lincoln Drive, whereas local elected leaders will evaluate an all-funds budget at $66,981,930.
The proposed spending plan at the Town of Paradise Valley for fiscal year 2024-25 — referred to as the General Fund — is $45,365,205, according to the ClearGov Paradise Valley Transparency Center.
The FY 2024-25 General Fund is $3,177,357 less than the FY 2023-24 spending plan at $48,542,562, numbers show.
According to the ClearGov Paradise Valley Transparency Center, the top 10 expenses at the Town of Paradise Valley this upcoming fiscal year will be:
- Public Safety at $12,609,045
- Interfund Transfers at $9,185,982
- Contingency fund balance at $8,493,994
- Community Development $3,975,106
- Tourism & Promotion at $2,490,800
- Information Technology at $2,062,458
- Town Manager’s Office at $1,328,431
- Finance Department at $1,100,051
- Public Works Department at $1,070,243
- Municipal Courts at $990,956
Paradise Valley Town Council is hosting an April 25 public hearing where the tentative budget is likely to be approved, meanwhile Town Hall leaders say final adoption is anticipated at the May 9 Town Council meeting.
