Meadows Behavioral Healthcare is proud to celebrate a decade of transformative outpatient care in the Valley as its Scottsdale outpatient center marks 10 years of providing premier trauma and addiction therapy.
In 2015, The Meadows launched its first outpatient center in Scottsdale, bringing the power of The Meadows Model into an outpatient setting, according to a press release.
“We want to first recognize the leaders who helped make this possible,” says CEO Kate Renwick-Espinosa. “Claudia Black played a pivotal role in shaping our outpatient clinical model and curriculum, alongside the dedication and guidance of Jim Corrington, Mark Baumgartner, and our entire outpatient team,” she adds. “Their contributions—along with the trust and collaboration of our partners and patients—have been instrumental in our shared success.”
Since its launch, The Meadows has grown its outpatient services into a nationwide network with 9 locations across seven states—all in an effort to meet the demand for care and flexibility. “At The Meadows, we really listen to our patients and their evolving needs,” said Meadows President Jaime Vinck. “We made outpatient services a priority to offer the same high-quality care as our inpatient programs, but with the freedom and flexibility that works for people’s lives. It’s all about giving people the support they need, on their terms.”
This past January, The Meadows also announced it had grown its accessibility through insurance-based coverage to include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ). Today, 95% of Meadows Outpatient clients utilize insurance, making critical mental health and addiction care more affordable and attainable than ever before.
“Access to in-network treatment decreases expenses, ensures timely care, and allows for better medical follow-up,” Ms. Renwick-Espinosa said. “It’s just another way we strive to meet the needs of our patients.”
