Technical Solutions leadership provides first-in-class public relations

President Susan Bitter Smith and Vice President Prescott Smith of Technical Solutions were named to the Sun Devil 100 Class on April 27th at Mullett Arena on ASU’s Tempe Campus.
This marks the dynamic duo’s sixth consecutive recognition by the ASU Alumni Association for business practices a the Scottsdale-based public relations firm.
Each year, the ASU Alumni Association recognizes Sun Devil Alumni owned and operated businesses that demonstrate growth and entrepreneurship. Eligible companies must provide annual revenue and financial growth information for the three prior fiscal/calendar years, as well as meet some additional criteria, according to a press release.
Technical Solutions is a public affairs firm that specializes in community outreach for planning and zoning approvals, project entitlement, and land acquisition. For over 35 years, Technical Solutions has provided extensive grassroots public outreach and fulfillment services for projects in a multitude of Arizona municipalities.
Ms. Bitter Smith and Mr. Smith both were originally recognized as Sun Devil 100 honorees in 2018 and have been acknowledged every year since.
Ms. Bitter Smith received her undergraduate degree in business administration from ASU in 1977 and her MBA from ASU in 1982. She is the past chair of the Walter Cronkite Foundation, the past president of the ASU Alumni Association, and the Honorary Chairman of the ASU MBA Alumni Council.
Mr. Smith received his undergraduate degree from ASU in Marketing in 2006 and his MBA with Entrepreneurship emphasis from ASU in 2012. Today Mr. Smith serves on the Barrett Honors College Alumni Council.
