Radio personality “Super Snake” joins Desert Valley Media Group’s all-new HOT 97.5 & 103.9 starting 7 p.m. Monday Oct. 10. Super Snake has been a staple on the Phoenix airwaves for decades and brings his vibrant personality back to local radio.
President and CEO of Desert Valley Media Group Jeff Trumper thinks this collaboration is perfect for the new energetic music format.
“HOT 97.5 & 103.9’s mission to be ‘The Rhythm of The Valley’ just landed the ‘Voice of The Valley’ and we can’t be more excited,” he said in a prepared statement. “Adding Super Snake to the newly rebranded HOT should only strengthen the early ratings success we’ve seen since our relaunch in July.”
Snake is planning to have a bit of fun during this year’s election term, putting his personal endorsement on a “Vote for HOT” campaign.
“Election campaign ads could use some excitement and a more inclusive message,” he said in the press release. “That’s the kind of energy you’ll hear during my show every weeknight! A vote for HOT is a vote to support local radio again in Arizona, let’s make radio great again!”
Expect the unexpected, who knows who will be checking in —- from Devin Booker, Charles Barkley, Jamie Foxx, Larry Fitzgerald to the good people of Arizona —- they will all play a part in the sound and fun planned on the station.
