The Scottsdale Unified School District is hosting a job fair from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at Mohave District Annex, 8500 E. Jackrabbit Road in Scottsdale.
It takes a strong team of dedicated professionals to deliver the world-class, future-focused education for which Scottsdale Unified School District is known, and the district is looking to add to that team, SUSD officials tell the Digital Free Press.
“There are so many ways to contribute to the community through our work,” said Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Dr. Heather Cruz. “Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time employment, we have something for you. Whether it’s in a classroom, teaching or supporting teachers and schools, or behind the scenes, supporting all employees, we’re a one-stop, job shop.”
At the July 17 event, the district will interview qualified candidates for these key positions:
- Math, Science, Spanish, and Gifted teachers
- Special Education teachers, paraeducators and instructional support
- Nutrition Services
- School crossing guards and noon aides
- Bus drivers and mechanics
- School custodians and grounds staff
- Social workers
- Before- and after-school childcare providers
- HR Specialists, Senior Payroll Coordinators, and other school and district administrative support roles
Positions requiring 30 or more hours of work a week are eligible for flexible employee and family health benefit plans that include medical, dental and vision coverage; wellness and employee assistance programs; Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) options; prescription benefits; life insurance; and membership in the Arizona State Retirement System.
Optional coverage includes Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), supplemental life insurance, identity theft protection, pre-paid legal services, and pet care insurance.
