Starting 10 a.m. Friday, July 15 at Scottsdale Quarter the “Back 2 School Bash” event is under way featuring an opportunity for patrons to contribute to the local school-supply drive that benefits Arizona Helping Hands.
Founded in 1998, the mission of Arizona Helping Hands is to provide essential needs for children in foster care through programs promoting safety, permanency, and health. As Arizona’s largest service provider of essential needs to children in foster care, Arizona Helping Hands services remain unparalleled, supporting children in foster care with items, including beds, cribs, clothing, diapers, and hygiene items.
The Chaparral High School cheer team will kick things off with a special performance in The Quad, followed by music, treats, silly school photos and back-to-school swag for the first 100 kids, representatives of the Scottsdale Quarter report.
The back-to-school drive starts Friday, July 15, as school supply donations will be accepted at the event and those who do receive a $5 gift card to Bumble Bee or Press Coffee along with Scottsdale Quarter swag.
