Officials at the Scottsdale Police Department are reporting the arrest of two individuals accused of several crimes over the last few weeks within municipal bounds and across the Valley of the Sun.
The police department made the report public of the arrest May 26 via the department’s social media feed.
The announcement named the arrest of 41-year-old Marcos Anthony Herrera and 45-year-old Anthony Michael Murray who are in custody, arrested under the charges of robbery, burglary, identity theft, money laundering, credit card theft, possession of dangerous drugs and theft, officials reported.
Police officials report both men are accused of committing numerous crimes from April through May.
The arrest came on May 18, police officials report, whereas on April 15 police responded to a report of a burglary occurring near a commercial building.
Scottsdale detectives investigating two incidents linked the two men accused of a “spree” throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Police officials report a special assignment unit — the result of databases, surveillance video and municipal departments trading intelligence — was dispatched May 18 an arrested Mr. Herrera and Mr. Murray without incident.
