Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts hosts City Council inauguration event

All members of the Scottsdale community are cordially invited to witness the installment of Mayor-elect Lisa Borowsky — as supporters contend the event marks the commencement of a new era of leadership at City Hall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
The Scottsdale Mayoral Inauguration Celebration is 3 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts, 7380 E. 2nd Street in Scottsdale.
The free inauguration ceremony promises to be a memorable afternoon, featuring Mayor-elect Borowsky, newly elected Councilmembers, distinguished elected officials, esteemed community leaders, and notable figures who have shaped Scottsdale’s landscape.
Mayor-elect Borowsky will deliver brief remarks and new members of Scottsdale City Council will be present for local community members to learn more about the goals of the upcoming municipal legislative session.
Mayor-elect Borowsky, who is a dedicated public servant and passionate advocate for Scottsdale, brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted commitment to the city’s well-being.
A lifelong resident, she previously served on the City Council where she championed tenets of conservative economic development, a steadfast dedication to public safety and a stark adherence to listening to the voice of the people.
“I am profoundly honored to have earned the trust of Scottsdale’s residents and to have the privilege of serving as your mayor for the next four years,” Mayor-elect Borowsky said. “I am eager to collaborate with the City Council, community organizations, and each and every resident to build upon Scottsdale’s strengths and forge a future that is prosperous for all who call, ‘The West’s Most Western Town’ home.”
