Scottsdale City Council welcomes new member to fold
The Scottsdale City Council is welcoming a new face and some familiar ones at its inauguration ceremony Tuesday, Jan. 10. The 4 p.m. ceremony will take place in the Scottsdale City Hall Kiva, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
Councilwomen Kathy Littlefield and Solange Whitehead were re-elected in 2022. Councilwoman Littlefield has held her position since January 2015 and will begin her third term.
Councilwoman Whitehead has held per position since January 2019 and will begin her second term.
Scottsdale’s newest councilmember, Barry Graham, will be sworn in to begin his first term. He was elected to the Scottsdale City Council in the November general election.
Prior to his council position, Mr. Graham served as a member of the city’s Planning Commission and served as the Chair of both the Transportation Commission and Building Advisory Board of Appeals.
The Oaths of Office will be followed by the new council’s regular meeting at 5 p.m.
