Scottsdale Royse Contemporary offers group exhibit until late July
Staff Reports | Digital Free Press
Royse Contemporary presents Color + Abstraction, a group exhibition examining color and abstraction — a reflection of the effects of using both light and abstraction of thought to create artwork.
Color and abstraction are brilliant tools allowing artists to freely express themselves, explore and share their vision while connecting with viewers.
Nicole Royse, curator at Royse Contemporary, has assembled an intriguing collection of work by artists working in an array of mediums including painting, drawing, photography and mixed media.
Royse Contemporary is at 7077 E Main St. in Old Town Scottsdale.
This exhibition showcases the work of six noteworthy Arizona artists, including Cherie Buck-Hutchison Gerry Groeber, Joe Ray, Daniel Shepherd, Marilyn Szabo and Casey Wakefield.
Each artist approaches their work in an original way, and we are delighted to bring this dynamic collection of work to Royse Contemporary.
Mark your calendars and we hope you will join is for our ArT PaRtY and ‘Closing Reception’ on Thursday, July 13, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Color + Abstraction will be on display at Royse Contemporary through July 23.
