For more than two decades, Withey Morris has been a key ingredient of Arizona’s land use and real estate law ecosystem.

It is in that same spirit the firm is proud to announce Partner Adam Baugh has now been added to the law firm’s masthead. The firm’s new name is now Withey Morris Baugh, PLC.

Early this week, the new name was formally introduced to fellow attorneys and clients at a special reception at The Camby Hotel in Phoenix, representatives of the brand say.

With more than 17 years of land use and zoning experience, Mr. Baugh says he has had the privilege of representing distinguished clients like Lennar Homes, CVS, Ashley Furniture, and Lincoln Properties, among others.

“Few people get to work their entire career at one firm, let alone become an owner at that same place. I am grateful to carry the tradition of excellence, and stand alongside Mike, Jason and the entire Withey Morris Baugh team in strengthening relationships that build Arizona,” Mr. Baugh said in a prepared statement.

Mr. Baugh graduated from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law in 2006, according to a press release.

“One of the things I’ve learned is finding solutions for our clients doesn’t mean you always get your way. Often, it’s about compromise, negotiation and in the end finding something that works for everyone involved,” Mr. Baugh said.

An experienced problem-solver with a talent for removing obstacles that impede development, he has helped landowners and builders succeed in environments that frequently appear hostile to development. As a result, he regularly appears before neighborhood organizations, planning commissions, city councils, and appellate hearings to advocate and obtain land use entitlements, business approvals, and liquor licenses.

“Adam’s drive and ambition brought him into Withey Morris, his ability and intellect made him a success here, and his passion, leadership and vision naturally led to Withey Morris Baugh. As a mentor, partner and friend, I could not be more proud of his achievement,” said Jason Morris, co-partner and co-founder of Withey Morris Baugh, PLC.

A Gilbert father of five, Mr. Baugh contends he is passionate about serving in his community and serves on a variety of community boards and committees, including the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.
