Phoenix Rising soccer enthusiasts have access to free taco cards at Mesquite Fresh Street Mex for fans at all home matches, 15% off in-store meals at the 40th Street Phoenix location, in addition to $6,000 in meal credit for Rising’s staff and players.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as Phoenix Rising’s preferred team meal provider for its talented players and dedicated fans,” said Ahmad Alatrash, co-founder of restaurant creative group AR Concepts. “Everyone at Mesquite is excited for the possibilities this partnership opens for future collaborative efforts.”

As an official partner of Phoenix Rising, Mesquite will benefit from social promotion by the team and inclusion on 2023 match day posters, field signage, stadium videoboards and the team’s official website – PHXRisingFC.com.

This marketing collaboration follows the restaurant’s recent announcement as official sponsor of Grand Canyon University in late 2022, through which Mesquite offers meal discounts for the university’s students and faculty with presentation of school ID.

“Phoenix Rising is excited to partner with another one of our new neighbors in central Phoenix,” said Phoenix Rising President Bobby Dulle, in a prepared statement. “Our fans can now enjoy 15% off a great post-win meal, right across the street from our stadium, thanks to Mesquite Fresh Street Mex. We look forward to working alongside Mesquite and finding more ways to enhance our matchday experience, even beyond our gates.”

Mesquite Fresh Street Mex was created by the Alatrash brothers in 2015, its first location opening in Old Town Scottsdale’s entertainment district. Since its creation, the brand has blossomed to nine Valley locations, with a new Tolleson location slated to open in late 2023.
