The Phoenix Police Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization helping to address unmet capital needs of the Phoenix Police Department, has teamed up with Let it Roll Bowl & Entertainment for the second annual police appreciation event, “Knocking Pins with the Police.”

“Last year, Let it Roll hosted the first “Knocking Pins with the Police” event to great success, and we are pleased to partner with them again this year to support and thank members of the Phoenix Police Department for their service,” said Timothy Thomas, president of the Phoenix Police Foundation, in a press release.

“This appreciation event is one that the whole family can enjoy and gives them a chance to meet sworn and non-sworn officers and engage with them as members of the community.”

From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, “Knocking Pins with the Police” will allow friends, family and supporters to come and say thank you to law enforcement protecting the community.

Let it Roll is found at 8925 N. 12th Street in Phoenix. The event is free, but the organizer is asking for a $5 donation to the Phoenix Police Foundation for those who bowl.

“The Phoenix Police Department officers are vital to our community and hosting this event will not only give people the chance to acknowledge their hard work but also have fun bowling together—which is a great pastime filled with laughter, energy and a bit of lighthearted competition,” said Stacy Anderson, owner of Let it Roll.

“By partnering with the Phoenix Police Foundation, we will be able to donate proceeds that will be used for Phoenix Police Department projects and equipment.”

Along with the bowling, there will be live music, a K-9 demonstration and SWAT vehicle, as well as food and beverages available to purchase.
