Humble Torta & Taco is now open at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport’s Terminal 3.
The cuisine is inspired by traditional Mexican street food with handmade, fresh tortillas, homemade tortas and culinary delights like classic carne asada, gourmet tacos, elote and a fresh breakfast menu, representatives of the brand say.
“We are thrilled to offer a culinary option at Sky Harbor that puts a spin on traditional Mexican food,” said Jorge Gomez, chef and partner. “Our menu is inspired by the fresh and unique flavors that Mexico has to offer with influence from my culinary background. We feel it’ll be a perfect spot before or after a flight with amazing food and a nice cocktail.”

Guests will be able to enjoy brunch from 7 to 11 a.m. with menu options such as a breakfast quesadilla, torta, waffles with berries and Humble hash. Similar to other concepts, the cocktails at Humble Torta & Taco are handcrafted options convenient amid catching a flight.
Chef Gomez recently showcased his culinary skills on Food Network’s Chopped: Casino Royale XL in an episode that aired earlier this year. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico, Mr. Gomez graduated from the Culinary Institute of Mexico and worked as an executive chef at Genuine Concepts before transitioning to Humble Concepts, Humble Pie, Bistro and Torta & Taco.
