For 24 years, the Montevina neighborhood in Scottsdale’s Grayhawk community has transformed its street into a festive holiday destination.
Starting Dec. 1 through Christmas night, visitors can stroll past dazzling light displays and stop at the beloved hot cocoa hut, open nightly from 6 p.m. until the cocoa runs out (usually around 9 p.m.).
The event is more than just a visual treat—it’s a community-driven effort to support St. Mary’s Food Bank.
Last year alone, donations topped $18,500 and 4,100 pounds of canned goods, all from guests who came for the lights and stayed to give back.
Volunteers and neighborhood kids keep the cocoa flowing, making this a heartwarming tradition locals jokingly call “The Griswolds Come to Grayhawk.” Find it just off 76th Way and Grayhawk Drive (west of Hayden, north of the 101).
