There’s a new way to find information and have your questions answered in Scottsdale, right from your cell phone.
Hello Scottsdale is a text-based Q&A service powered by artificial intelligence that the city is initially piloting in Old Town Scottsdale, with several other areas coming soon, according to a press release.
Need information on events, city services or local businesses? Hello Scottsdale allows you to find information and have your questions answered via text message. Visitors in Old Town will see Hello Scottsdale promoted on signs in some the city’s busiest areas.
City officials contend Hello Scottsdale is a great way to explore the community and share your thoughts and ideas on what Scottsdale can do to be an even better place to live, work and play. The city will use the feedback provided to improve services and programing. Information shared is anonymous.
As part of the pilot program, residents in select neighborhoods will soon see Hello Scottsdale stickers on their waste collection bins. The service allows residents to report issues and find information about trash and recycling collection in their neighborhood, the release states.
As the city continues to test the platform, residents may see Hello Scottsdale signs and stickers at public parks, outreach events and city programs.
