Arizona Science Center will kick off its 12th Annual Snow Week, made possible by Subaru, from Tuesday, Dec. 26, through Monday, Jan. 1, to combine curiosities for science with snow, right here in the desert.
With various snow-themed demonstrations, experiences and activities, Snow Week marks the perfect family outing while Valley kids are still on winter break.
Throughout the week, guests can enjoy the Snow Hill, icy demonstrations, snowy Curiosity Cart activities, SnowPals, yard games and more.
On select days, kids can also compete in the Penguin Obstacle Course and enjoy special theater performances of the Fire n’ Ice Snowdown, a live experience full of science that explores what happens when Mr. Snow meets Lady Flame.
Plus, CREATE at Arizona Science Center will open at 9:30 a.m. throughout snow week. Enjoy Upcycled Snow Pals, CREATE Mini Maker Experiences Lego Challenge, free Polar Pop-outs, and Under the Hood, engineered by Subaru.
Additional snow-themed ticketed experiences will be available, including shows in the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater and the Dorrance Planetarium, as well as themed CREATE activities and the Mountain Climbing Blow-Up Course.
