72SOLD names Edson Barrantes chief strategy officer on heels of rapid expansion

72SOLD creates new position to fuel further brand growth

72SOLD is adding a new position to its corporate team as Edson Barrantes has been named chief strategy officer at 72SOLD.

Mr. Barrantes is responsible for developing and executing the overall strategic plan for 72SOLD while maintaining duties as the brand’s chief marketing officer.

Mr. Barrantes will act as the primary delivery source for messaging between the department heads and the CEO, those close to the matter say.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to take on a larger role with this fast-growing company,” Mr. Barrantes said in a prepared statement. “72SOLD has expanded into 81 major U.S. cities already this year and is among the fastest growing companies in America. We are helping thousands of homeowners across the country sell at 8%-12% higher average prices, something never before achieved in this industry.”

With more than 16 years of experience in media, Mr. Barrantes has worked with notable media groups such as Hearst, Sinclair, Nexstar and Tegna, the release states.

Prior to joining 72SOLD, Mr. Barrantes was at the NBC affiliate station in Phoenix where he was the sales manager for five years for Tegna’s 12News.

“I look forward to working with the rest of the leadership group within the company as we continue to expand our strategic vision,” Mr. Barrantes said. “I am excited for what we will accomplish working hand in hand with our CEO, Greg Hague, who is determined to reinvent the way homes are sold to make the process easier, faster, and more profitable for homeowners.”

Since its inception in 2018, 72SOLD has proven success announcing this past January, a partnership with the largest real estate franchise in the world, Keller Williams Realty, which is allowing 72SOLD to propel its national expansion.
